1.) Where and when is the LAN?

2.) How long will the LAN be?

LAN begins on Thursday August 7th and ends Sunday afternoon.

3.) So this is an overnight LAN?

Yes. The venue has 24 hour access so we are able to spend the night there with limited space available.  Bring sleeping bags and pillows!

4.) What about food and drink?

Food and drink are covered in the entrance fee. We will be having grilled food and pizza to eat. And bottled water and cola will be available for everyone. For those over 21, a beer keg will be on hand. If you’re under 21, don’t even ask…

5.) So how much is this going to cost?

$80

6.) So what do I get with my entrance fee?

A.) Entrance (duh!)

B.) Sleeping arrangements for 3-4 nights (better than paying $70 per night for a hotel room)

C.) All food and drinks

D.) DarkLAN 2010 T-Shirt

7.) I am under 16, can I still go?

We will be reviewing the applications as they come. If you are under 16 and not in the Dark Clan, you probably won’t be accepted to the LAN event. Those under 18 will need their parents to sign a waiver form.

8.) A waiver?

Yes, ALL PEOPLE (even those over 18) who want to attend the LAN must sign a waiver form. This LAN event is at your risk. If there is any physical damage to your body, your equipment, or your vehicle, the Elite 5 will not be responsible. They will also not be responsible for any software issues your computer may encounter, including viruses, keystroke loggers, etc.

9.) So essentially we’re signing our life away?

Yes.

10.) Will Rick’s mom be attending? (Bretts Mom attended Last year!!)

Maybe!

11.) Do I have to bring my own computer and cables?

Yes, you must bring all components necessary for hooking up your computer as well as your computer and monitor.
